We arrived at Rocklea to a lovely host Chris , he showed us to our room which was fantasticand very clean , massive bed , sofa with big t.v, 2 chairs and small table to sit at , great size bathroom with a double shower , breakfast was all freshly cooked served by Liz who was brilliantand very welcoming , anything you needed they were very helpful, over the road was a great pub which served brilliant food , the BnB is between Windermere and bowerness and set back from the main rd so was very quiet, we will definitely go back and recommend it to family and friends Thankyou Chris n Liz for a lovely stay . - Helen
Lovely stay, chris and liz were really good hosts and nothing was to much trouble for them. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choices and nicely cooked, the room which was advertised as small was really not, i have definately stayed in smaller rooms in the lakes.The guest house is nicely situated between windermere and bowness.all in all a really pleasant stay, couldn't fault the place - David s
